TOOLKIT
The Emergency Social
Services (ESS) Public Relations Toolkit has been developed by the ESS
Office in response to survey results of November 1999, which indicated
a need for better community awareness and recognition of ESS.
This toolkit is designed to give
ESS teams a good start in their pre-disaster public relations efforts and includes useful information and tools to assist with promotion of ESS locally. Refer to the Reception Centre Operational Guidelines for information on Media Relations during a disaster.
