WHO ARE THE PEOPLE?

LEVEL ONE ESS

When an incident involves only one or two families, Level One ESS may be activated. Level One ESS volunteers provide the same services as ESS, using the same Referral forms and rates.

The local authority may choose to utilize a local Emergency Social Services team, engage municipal employees, contract or partner with an organization like the Red Cross, Victim Services or The Salvation Army, or implement another method of providing Level One response for their community.

HOW CAN I VOLUNTEER FOR LEVEL ONE ESS?

You may contact either your local Emergency Program Coordinator or ESS Director for more information on the Level One ESS program in your community.
